Ending Violence Educators

EVE is a team of passionate volunteers who engage in facilitating discussions to increase awareness of the dynamics and impact of interpersonal violence and gender-based exploitation in at risk global communities.

This incredible team of nurses and health educators work alongside many of Hungry For Life's partners in a unique way. Through their curriculum they develop relationships with community leaders to help address stress points within the communities. They also conduct women's health classes, and work in local schools to bring about transformation through the power of knowledge, specifically on the topics of violence and self-esteem.

Alongside the field partners, the team continued their work with community leaders, conducted women's health classes, and worked in local schools to bring about transformation through the power of knowledge, specifically on the topics of violence and self-esteem.

"When a young man disclosed the abuse he had suffered it gave me the courage to disclose what happened to me when I was young... I hoped that it would inspire them to confided to someone they trust to possibly relieve the sorrow."
