With their expertise, Southern Irrigation partners with Timotheos Foundation in Southern Malawi to contribute agricultural development at the Timotheos Child Care Centers.
In February, 2023 they sent their first team to Nsanje, Malawi to work together with local farmers on a test plot and to put in drip irrigation lines to test how this impacts the growth of the crops at the Chigumukire Child Care Center.
Southern Irrigation is committed to supporting the agriculture development project for several years. Using their irrigation expertise to find African solutions in Southern Malawi where extreme drought in the dry season and intense rain in the rainy season adds extra challenges.
With Southern Irrigation's support, the Timotheos Foundation can improve agricultural output and when the fields start producing more crops, it will instantly create an income flow for the Child Care Center.
