Assisting in the operational expenses enables ATEK to carry our their mandate which is serving God and our fellow man. ATEK seeks to contribute to the holistic and self-sustaining development of Quechua communities by providing training and developing tools that will aid in evangelization and in strengthening Quechua families, churches and communities.

A New Community
ATEK is beginning work in a new community called Paucartambo! Activities such as Bible workshops, Bible distribution and workshops for Sunday School teachers are being planned. Already a sexual abuse workshop was held for students and parents in Paucartambo, and relationships are being built.
In addition, two members of the ATEK team, Luisa and Adelina, were able to participate in a training in Mexico City that was facilitated by SIL international.
Paucartambo is quite difficult to reach which increases the difficulty of working in the area. As the ATEK team works in in this new community prayers for wisdom are appreciated!
