Home Stretch

Heading

After a long busy week of clinics assessing and treating over 700 patients we were able to have a bit of down time before heading back home!
Yesterday’s clinic was again setup in a local community church building and though we were off to a bit of a bumpy start, we were able to get things running fairly smoothly.
Michelle spent most of the morning as a triage nurse which proved to be a very productive way of screening patients before intake. This allowed us to see significantly more people that actually needed the help!
The team of doctors assessed and treated over 120 patients in the morning before heading out for some community home visits.
Food hampers were also purchased and divided up for the families in the community most in need and it was a blessing to assist in preparing them. All in all it has been a fantastic trip thanks to an amazing team!
