What an exciting time to be in New Jerusalem!
Now that doors and windows have been installed and water tanks placed on top of the building, students are able to use the school washrooms.
And there's more! The water filter, so necessary for clean water, is up and running! That means, first of all, that students and their families have clean drinking water. It also means that small businesses, who pay for the maintenance of and supplies for the water filter, can sell water from the renovated building.
The water filter has already been instrumental in reducing diseases in the community by 75%. There is hope that soon the whole community will be able to access clean drinking water! With clean water and reduced diseases, there can be hope for the future.
