The third level of the ATEK building has been completed. This required finishing the remaining 3 rooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 dining room, and 1 kitchen. This includes plumbing, electrical, floors, painting, windows, and doors. With an average of 60 people coming from various surrounding villages there is currently not enough space to accommodate them. Completing the third level provided ATEK the ability to properly host the large number of people coming to be trained.

The fourth and final level of the ATEK building is now being built! It will be used as an independent apartment for missionary couples who come to serve and assist the ministry.

Safe accommodation to aid sustainability

The housing portion of the ATEK building is almost complete! For a number of years ATEK has struggled with the sustainability of their projects, finding it difficult to obtain the necessary finances. Although supporters have slowly dwindled, the work has not.

As ATEK attests, "We have faced various challenges, and in all of them God has shown his hand of favor with us. The last 5 years have been quite difficult, as we have faced major challenges that, in human eyes, were almost impossible to overcome, but God was there, just in time bringing the necessary help."

To decrease the lack-of-funding problem, ATEK searched for a solution and decided that providing safe accommodations for missionaries, tourists, and friends would provide a reliable income for their projects. That building is almost ready for use! The kitchen and furniture are the only remaining pieces of the puzzle.

ATEK is becoming creative in finding ways to sustain itself and, more than anything else, learning to trust in God.
