It’s surreal to think today was our last full day here in Malawi. Our team was finally able to sleep in longer than our average wake up time of 5am. It was a treat to be able to catch up on some much needed sleep. We gathered for breakfast then had a slower morning before heading to one of the Timotheos foundations childcare centres, Mbulumbuzi, for Church.
Once that short 2.5 hour service was done we headed back to our lodging for some well deserved Sunday afternoon naps. Safe to say, we all take our day of rest very seriously 😉.
Late afternoon we headed over to the Oomens once again where we were incredibly spoiled and blessed by them.
I think that everyone on the team was feeling a bit sad and nostalgic this afternoon, as we reflected on our time here in this beautiful place. While this day and this trip draw to a close, I cannot help but smile with all we have experienced.
