You feel a wide range of emotions when serving those who have such deep pain. We get to see the excitement of the kids when arriving to the aqua park but then get brought back into the reality of their world when one girl shares that she is lucky because she remembers her dad taking her to first grade by the hand while her younger brother doesn’t have a memory of him.
this group of ladies have glimpses of happiness but beyond the eyes you see the sheer exhaustion of trying to hold themselves up while being the sole caregiver for their children.
where there is pain and suffering there the church should be and am getting to see that once again firsthand as Broadway church is serving alongside Christian’s who are pouring themselves out for these precious families.
