In New Jerusalem the focus has been on the pre-school building. With support from the HRC Jordan and Calvin Christian teams, funds became available to construct the office building, kitchen, wall, gate, and a new classroom. The school is almost finished and is fully operating, providing quality Christian education to 95 students.
The hope and dream of the leadership team is that the school will continue to grow, and that it will impact the lives of many children in the community.
In batey Vasca, the construction of the Community Center is almost finished. The GIVE, HRC Jordan, and the Calvin Christian teams all contributed to renovate the building after it was destroyed by a hurricane.
The community building is now a place where the community can gather for various activities, serving as an important location to celebrate, to mourn, and to connect with each other.
