The church used their sanctuary as a classroom, which was very crowded. As a result of the success of this program, the church has decided that they should start a Youth Centre. Not only to support their education but also to a place for the kids to come and hang out, play games and hear the gospel. There isn't much in Tsaryhanka to keep children busy with activities. So in the past few weeks they started to build a Youth Centre building which is attached to the church. When they built the church they also laid the foundation for an addition for future growth. I guess this is the future growth. The Youth Centre will have a kitchen, eating area, classrooms, bathrooms and guest rooms on the second floor.
During this past year Pastor Aleksandr and the Tsarychanka Baptist Church saw a need with the schools being closed because of Covid 19 pandemic. The children in the village were falling behind in their education because many didn't have access to computers to continue their education on-line. So in March 2020 they started to support the children by helping them with their school work and also providing them with computers. The computers were donated by someone in the Ukraine. They were helping 40 plus kids, six days a week with their school work.
