Creating sustainability within the community for local farmers is important. Haiti Bible Mission (HBM) provides training and resources for local farmers to plant crops and generate an income that will sustain their families. Following Hurricane Matthew many of the fields in the region were destroyed, and support was provided to help many in the surrounding community replant their crops. Additionally, goats have been provided to families in need as a way to support themselves.
