Haiti is the poorest and least developed country in the western hemisphere. Due to lack of infrastructure, knowledge and clean water, diseases spread quickly and health care is lacking. Our partners at Haiti ARISE Ministries have a desire to see people in their community become healthier and suffer less. Our goal is to send teams of doctors and nurses to this area semi-annually to provide medical care to the surrounding community. These clinics typically see 800-900 people, with some patients needing follow up and even surgical care. Additionally, training and program oversight are provided to build into the local medical staff and clinic workers. A local dentist and laboratory staff treat over 12,000 patients per year. Additionally, medical teams from Canada are able to work alongside the clinic on a regular basis.

Latest update

Continued medical clinics

Haiti Arise's medical team continues their work on the ground in the south. In November 2021, the medical staff went to the south and organized 3 mobile clinic days.

Day 1- They were in Camp Perren, they saw 119 patients with many cases like stomach inflammation, fever, pain & hyper tension.

Day 2- They went to Tobec and saw 77 patients and they had similar sickness compared to Camp Perren.

Day 3- They went to Jantillote and also saw 77 patients too with the same kind of sickness.

They had 3 others who were helping the staff, they live in the south, 2 nurses and 1 Doctor .

The tour they did in the south helped them and also the patients become aware of what sickness they were facing that could cost them their lives. They were very happy know, it's not something they get very often to have medical teams visit in the area they live in.

They had the participation of all their staff (medical) and (Haiti Arise) that put together other equipment for this awesome work!

They hope next time they go there they will be able to help more people.

"We say thanks to Pastor Marc who presented this idea to us on his first meeting he had with our staff after the earthquake and thanks to Jason and Dr. Bob for the financial support they gave us and we'll keep praying so that more blessings will come on you guy's way. God bless!"
