Due to a snowstorm in Toronto we missed our connection in Addis Ababa. Which was a blessing in disguise.
For two reason, nobody wanted to spend another four hours flying and we got to experience some of Ethiopia’s culture.
Hungry For Life’s partner Tilahun invited us over to his house for a traditional coffee ceremony and some local food. He shared about his work with street children in Addis Ababa and Ethiopian culture.
We also visited a traditional restaurant where we saw some Ethiopian singers and dancers performing local music.
We left before the show ended, to get some good rest at the airport hotel before we head back to the airport for our last flight.
We hope to be in Malawi around 1:00 PM local time this Saturday.
