As the students from Seje Glory Centre Academy and Yogo Glory Centre Academy reach Class 8 and move on to secondary school, the hard reality that many of them remain unable to afford to attend a quality school will hold them back from future success. This reality is creating a ripple effect in the primary schools reducing excitement and hard work. The need for a secondary branch is immediate and neccessary to keep students working hard in the primary section.
In February of 2020 a parcel of land was located and a committment was made to purchase the land by a Canadian partner. The dream of the continuation of the excellent education provided to these current 500+ students and many more students into the future has taken tiny roots in rich Kenyan soil.
Partners will be needed to bring the buildings and the infrastructure up. A plan has been laid out for the facility to grow year by year as the students graduate and the need expands.
