Heading
Today was our last day. We headed out to dedicate the houses and hand over the keys. Site two was an especially emotional experience, as the woman who received the house was so overwhelming grateful. Site one, with it's remnant concrete wall of a previously unfinished house is an interesting juxtaposition of new and old. One of the girls who will live there had already staked out her room. Joven said a few words about why our team built these houses, prayed and gave each family a Bible.
After lunch, the Filipino children sang a few songs to say goodbye. Many tears and hugs later we headed out.
We are all tired and ready to go home, but it has been a meaningful trip and we have been so blessed to be a part of it.
