Yesterday we celebrated a birthday, Evan, one of Luba’s grandchildren, Juliet’s son turned 6. We had a fun-filled day for him … Dino park in the morning and the Waterpark in the afternoon… with a party at lunchtime including birthday cake and presents.The sad and ugly part of this story is that this was the first birthday party Evan ever had. One of many unfair aspects of this war..the tragic, cruel circumstances that the war brings, to rob children of their childhoods including birthday parties. Out of six years of his life, almost five of them were spent witnessing this unjust war.Pray for Evan and for PEACE !!!
