It was an early start of the day picking the ladies up from the train station. We never know how a group is going to be as grief is processed differently between people. This group had a lot of excitement to be with us.
they were so very thankful for the Canadian Broadway team that they were willing to come and serve them.
It made them feel valued and the sacrifice/memory of their son, father, or husband carries on.
had a brief time of sharing in the morning and once again the evils being inflicted upon those living here in Ukraine. So much heartbreak and will share about it in a different post. But today we served breakfast and a lot of coffee and then it was off to the mineral pools.
I once again saw the incredible work the local church is doing to care for families of fallen soldiers and how we also get to be a part of that. Suffering had brought these ladies together and the churches response to sit with those going through immense grief.
