Saturday morning we said our goodbyes to our friends at Fudesa, along with Carlos and Jonathan we made our way along the bumpy roads to Batey Vasca. Upon arrival we helped the English teacher with an English lesson by trying to have conversations in English with the children. Once the children left for home we had a delicious lunch. After lunch we received the news that an elderly man had died alone with no family around. The team split up and started working on the church fence, repairing a pump house, while some of us played games with the children. The afternoon in Vasca was completed with a big game of baseball. The team headed to our lodging in San Pedro, stopping on the way to pick up some supplies for the coming days. After supper we headed to the beach to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Sunday
We headed to Vasca for church, after the service the church attendees were served a lunch. After lunch we played a small game of volleyball with the children before heading back to Obisbo. Back in San Pedro we checked out a beautiful catholic church. In the late afternoon sun we wondered down to the beach and spent some time there. The evening was spent singing psalters and hymns together. It was a beautiful day.
