We have officially arrived at our first village on our 2025 Peru mission trip! We will be at this village for three days teaching English and painting a church.
After a four hour road trip in a van traveling on very twisty roads, we have all recovered from the car sickness.
Once we arrived in the village we quickly grabbed our teaching supplies and then we met our students. The children were all very excited and we all enjoyed playing games and teaching them. The children loved to laugh and giggle every time we mispronounced Spanish words. We finished teaching around 2:30 pm and then we had a delicious lunch.
After lunch some of the team went back to the church to work on painting it while others cleaned and played some games with a few kids. Part of the team has been working on making a Canadian supper to have with the teachers from the school. We are making meatballs, potatoes and gravy.
Everyone is doing good and is enjoying the village.
Thank you all so much for your prayer and support and we ask for prayer that we will be a light to the children, teachers, and people in the village and that we can show them the love of Jesus Christ.
God is so faithful and so good.
