Today marked our first day of teaching at our second village. The morning began with the sound of the school bell ringing at 8:30 AM, signaling the start of class. Our team was energized and ready, while the students were eager to dive into their lessons. It was evident that the love of Christ was flowing through each member of our team, and we served with joy and purpose.
The day was packed with teaching, and it was truly heartwarming to see the smiles on both the students' and the team's faces. Around noon, Rob joined us after completing the pump repairs at ATEK, and he immediately jumped into teaching, adding even more energy to the classroom.
After class, the principal led us up to a beautiful mountain waterfall. The view was breathtaking, a reminder of the beauty of God's creation.
As the day winds down, some of the team is preparing for tomorrow's lessons, while others are participating in worship and joining a local church service. We feel incredibly blessed to be a part of what God is doing here in Peru.
Please continue to pray for our team, as the enemy does not want us here. Pray for strength and peace as we rest tonight, and for God’s guidance as we continue our work tomorrow.
Blessings,
Rob and Kyle
