Our guests/friends arrived safe and sound after a 15 hour car ride from Nikopol. They arrived at 11 am just in time for lunch and a long visit around the table followed by moving into the living room for more visiting and singing!!! There were so many stories that were shared regarding the past 3 ½ years, too many to share on a blog. No matter the story, it always came back to how faithful God is in providing for them Our guests were John and Lubba and their two kids, Pasha and Ira and their two kids and (Pastor) Sasha and Olga and their two kids and they all can sing!!!That evening we went to the mineral pool to relax, well some of us went. Cynthia and Sharon stayed behind to prepare more meals.Thursday the group did some exploring in Mukachevo and went to a pool here in Mukachevo that has water slides and a lazy river, the kids enjoyed that.Thursday evening the group from Nikopol were responsible for the evening church service at Klachanovo Church, Rostick is the pastor there. The majority of the service was them singing, sometimes just the adults and sometimes with all the kids. It was a pleasure again to hear them sing. After the service, we were all invited for supper in the church hall, Vic even got a game of Uno in with some of the youth after supper (and he won!).Friday, it was a beautiful day in Mukachevo, bright blue sky, warm, and the landscape painted with fall colours. All of us (16) squeezed into the van and went to the city of Uzhhorod, which is 40 minutes and alongside a river. We walked the river bank and the city centre and enjoyed the afternoon. As a treat for the Nikopol folks we had lunch at KFC.That evening John and the ladies provided a BBQ for us and most of Mary’s family. It was tasty especially after spending most of the day in the fresh air. After supper it was back in the living room for the final evening of sharing and singing. We gave the group all the greetings that were passed on to us from you back home to share with them. They send their greetings with us to share with you when we get back. Unfortunately it was now time to say good-bye as they were leaving at 4am to get back to Nikopol in time for church on Sunday
