Pray for Peace in Ukraine

The group from Nikopol arrived back home safe and sound. They left Mukachevo at 4am Saturday morning and arrived in Nikopol at 8:30pm that evening.

Saturday morning Cynthia, Sharon, and I did a bit of cleaning at the guest house, and then spent the afternoon in Mukachevo doing some last minute shopping and enjoying cake and coffee at Vic’s favorite cafe. In the evening Chad, Mary and the three of us went out for pizza and just enjoyed a relaxing evening together.

Sunday morning we went to church in Klyachanovo (Rostick’s church) and participated in the Lord’s Supper. After church we went to Mary’s mom for a wonderful lunch. Then Mary and the three of us went to Chop and spent some time with internally displaced people at a new church plant. We enjoyed coffee and cake when we first arrived. Then did a food hamper distribution for 50 families. We had dinner with the church plant members and heard some of their stories of the past 3 ½ years.

Now it’s just packing up our stuff and getting a good night's sleep before we start heading home tomorrow morning, beginning with a train ride to Budapest.
