Today was one of those days that we know will stay with us forever.
We started by visiting a local school where the children welcomed us in the most beautiful way — with song and dance. Their energy was contagious. Before long, some of our own crew couldn’t resist joining in and showing off their dance moves too. It was such a joyful, heart-warming moment that reminded us how powerful connection can be, even without words.
Later, we made our way to the Equator. Standing there with the team felt surreal — one of those “you had to be there” experiences. Of course, we took plenty of photos to capture the moment and celebrate being in such a unique place together.
To top it off, we rode motorbikes back into town as a group. We ran into a few problems along the way, but honestly, that just added to the adventure. Those little challenges turned into laughs and memories we’ll never forget.
We then visited the high school that Westbow has been working on. It is very beautiful, with amazing classrooms and a stunning view of the sunset.
We ended the day with a team dinner sharing stories about the day — laughs, smiles, and heartfelt moments.
What started as a group of people traveling together has become so much more. These people are no longer just friends — we truly see them as family now.
