This morning, I was deeply moved to tears while looking at this picture from our journey yesterday. I found myself praying last night and this morning, feeling discouraged as I see so much need in the community, asking God to guide me this week and help me discover ways to uplift this community so they can suffer less. These wonderful people miss out on so much in life. However, as we share the word of God and His love through our efforts here, they start to find security and comfort in His redeeming power.
I've come to understand that the true impact we make isn't solely about what we can see around us, but about the eternal importance of belonging to the kingdom of heaven—the one God has envisioned from the very start. This kingdom captures hearts, not through force or dominance, but by changing individuals' hearts. God is making a difference through us, even if it isn’t always apparent, as we reach out and touch lives.
For this I am truly grateful!
