Getting reacquainted

Me again

Heading

A slow start after a late night, morning devotions, a delicious breakfast and a ‘Canadian style’ orientation from Carlos then we’re off like a sleepy herd of turtles.

We are holding our agenda with open hands and letting the day flow. We had a bonding moment in the kitchen as Rempels and Simpsons shared about working on the lines at Gleaners, and Anna and Carlos expressed what it means to have this food available to share with the under resourced seniors in the community.

We have re kindled friendships already, had opportunities to encourage and pray with people and made some new friends.

We are all so blessed to have the opportunity to work alongside this couple who love the Lord so much, love their community so deeply and are passionate about seeing them  find freedom and forgiveness in Christ.

Angela - Jonathan was so surprised and thrilled by the cookies. Please pass the message on.

Off to review the day and start thinking about how we will all participate in the service on Sunday. See you tomorrow.
