It was a special day to be able to join Richard and his family in church today. It was a blessing to be able to meet some of the brothers and sisters that we were introduced to last year. We also met some folks based out of Ohio that were instrumental in starting the ministry that God is using to reach the people in Juan Thomas and the surrounding area.
It was an impactful message about being brave, like Peter and John, to speak boldly about Christ even though the authorities told them not to.
It was quite a restful day and it allowed Lorne to recuperate from his bad night so we are thankful to God for that.
We enjoyed a tour of the property by Jonathan and it was a blessing to see the high school with the 3rd floor completed and very close to being put to use for training in trades. They held a dedication ceremony last Friday for it.
Another highlight of the tour was the goat farm that Jonathan 's grandparents run. There was even an opportunity to help do some bottle feeding of some young ones.
We picked up some snacks from a small convenience store across the street that is run by a Christian lady that also teaches English at the high school.
Tonight we watched some baseball with some passionate Dominicans friends.
We appreciate your prayers as we have a couple of days here and we hope to finish strong with the whole team working together.
