We Brought Raincouver to Mexico!

We met at Beni and Diana’s house at 8:00, in the pouring rain! We piled into 4 vehicles and began the wet, wet, wet drive to Seattle. Eddie gave us a scare, and we were told he couldn’t make it due to being in the hospital with a pre-existing medical condition.

We made a mandatory pit stop at Chick-fil-A for a (very!) early lunch, but boy did it hit the spot. Some team members had never had Chick-fil-A before and gave it the seal of approval after trying it. While we were there, Eddie messaged and said he got approved by the doctors to come with us after all, so he met us at SeaTac.

We boarded the plane to San Diego with a slight delay but the pilot made up the time in the air and we got arrived on time, safe and sound.

Randy and Sandy picked us up and we headed towards the border. There was some miscommunication about whether or not our visas were paid for, but other than that, the border crossing was smooth sailing. It seems like we brought the rain with us, because it was pouring as we drove towards Ensenada.

We stopped for some delicious tacos in Rosarito, and filled our stomachs with loaded pork and beef tacos, before getting back in the vans for the final leg of driving to El Refugio.

We arrived at El Refugio at around 11:30 pm and all headed straight to bed for some much needed sleep after a long day of traveling!
