Heading
Today was a day full of activities. In the morning we went to the store and bought some items for the food hampers. We made 15 hampers.
After that we divided in 2 teams and delivered 6 hampers in the nearby area. It was such a privilege to be able to bless each family with some essential items and pray over them.
In the afternoon, we joined the Youth group where we sang some songs together. We even recognized one of the songs, “This is Amazing Grace”! I think it’s a great reminder that we can all worship God together as a family of believers without having to worry about the languages we are doing it in. After worship, Amber, Daniel and Riley, Kierra and Jake shared testimonies.
The youth prepared some fun games, a message and a bonfire with hotdogs, marshmallows and drinks.
In the evening, we went to our friends’ house, Freddy and Marisol for their daughter Ximena’s 12th birthday party. It was so lovely to visit with them. The kids from our team and the Guatemalan kids had such a great time playing.
It’s a blessing for me to be able to be here and see our Guatemalan friends.
I’m looking forward to seeing what other treasures has God has in store for us. (Isaiah 45:3)
