Our team took a much-deserved break today to explore the beautiful city of Antigua, Guatemala—just an hour-and-a-half drive away.
Our first stop was a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the city, where we took in the colorful rooftops, cobblestone streets. Sadly, because of the clouds today, we couldn’t see the volcanoes that surround Antigua. But it was still the perfect place to get a few photos.
Once we made our way into town, everyone split into smaller groups to wander at their own pace. Some went in search of the perfect Guatemalan lunch, while others set off to explore ancient ruins and charming colonial architecture. Of course, no trip is complete without a bit of shopping—souvenirs were found, ice cream was enjoyed, and plenty of memories were made along the way.
As the day came to an end, there was one last experience: fireworks! We lit them in front of the house, filling the night sky with color and laughter.
It was a day full of connection, adventure, and joy—a perfect reminder of how meaningful it is to step away from the routine and simply enjoy the moment together.
