This morning we woke up early to the sound of roosters crowing and then much later, at about 830, we had breakfast all together and our devotional time before we got ready to go to the church in Chivoc. At the church, they are building walls and they need to add the septic tank so we spent some time digging a big hole for the septic tank. It has to be about 7 metres deep. The guys made great progress today. We worked along side some local church members. It was great to spend time with the pastors. We also helped form a concrete pillar. It took a lot of buckets of concrete to fill the pillar, about 100 buckets of sand, stone and concrete to fill one pillar. We were very happy to have a break because it was very hot, but it was really fun to work as a team and get that done. We came back to San Raymundo and cleaned up, then we went for ice cream in the town Square which was a tasty treat after a hard days work. Then we got to ride in a tuk tuk on the way home. A great start to the week.
