Today was a day full of listening and learning. We met with Pro Infancia and Coop Tu Crecer to discuss how the organizations formed. One of the visions of Pro Infancia was a way to sustainably reinvest in their operations and community. We also reviewed Coop tu Crecer’s growth since its inception in 2022. Finally, We talked at length about ways we could potentially partner with and support them long term and became optimistically excited with ideas about how LLT could contribute long term. We then drove to the Pro Infancia sewing centre which makes reusable menstruation products that are given out in the Days for Girls program throughout the Americas. It was a lovely experience meeting Pastor Jose and Fabia who started the sewing center. We met them for lunch and to hear about the growth and incredible impact they have.
