Rooftop devotions at 7:15…it was peaceful and beautiful. After breakfast, the team along with many of the girls and Levi, got busy baking multiple recipes, preparing lunch for the Seniors Centre and looking over maintenance work to be done. At the Seniors Centre we enjoyed exercise activities, balloon games, bingo, devotions and shared the meal we prepared with the seniors. So much joy!! We also pulled up our sleeves and cleaned all the rooms.
Back at El Refugio, we prepared for church in a town called Maneadero by doing some more baking with the girls. Another beautiful view and an amazing time of worship and fellowship as we served our delicious baked treats and watermelon.
We finished up dinner around 9:30…tortilla soup…yum…and all turned in for a night of much needed rest. A new day awaits us with new opportunities to show up and show love.
