Today was our final full day in Ensenada and we had a day of rest after our full week of ministry. We slept in and had our final team devotion time followed by another delicious breakfast. We spent our Sunday morning at a Spanish church service which was a beautiful time together.
For the afternoon the team hit the beach with the girls for a final fun time together. Some of the team enjoyed attempting to surf the waves and played with the girls in the water. We then took the girls and staff of the home out for tacos! Wow it was incredible food!
We finished our time here with a worship, prayer and encouragement time and then said some tearful goodbyes to the girls. We felt incredibly blessed to have gotten to know them and be a part of their lives for this week. They are incredibly tender hearted girls and they have all impacted us in different ways.
Please be praying for our team as we travel home tomorrow! We are leaving the house in Ensenada at 2:30am because of a several hour drive and then crossing the Mexican to USA boarder, which is one of the busiest land boarders in the world and it can take several hours of waiting to make it to the front of the line. Please be praying for safety as we travel and that we make it through the boarder in a timely matter so we can catch our flight on time!
Please also pray for the team as we re-enter back home, that our transition into coming home is with peace as we have been impacted this week but knowing that culture shock can be a reality.
Thank you for your support, prayers and for following along with us during this week!
